February 2012
This month we are concentrating on the Six Learning Strategies by Harvey and Goudvis, 2000.
We have learned about visualization, connections, and are currently learning determining importance.
We are also improving our math skills in small groups to address each student's particular needs.

We have been focusing on getting assignments completed in a timely manner and
working to get no "I"'s on our progress reports.
We have also been taking some probes/assessments to identify skill strengths and
weaknesses to pinpoint where progress is needed.

Hello and welcome to my wikipage. This is my first attempt at being 'techy' with
multiple people, so please be patient as I learn the buttons.
In seventh grade, gray, resource class, we are working on becoming better writers.
We will be using the 5 themes of geography assignment, Defining a Country, from
Mr. Rileys class. The project paper turned in for his class is our "first" draft and we
will be improving upon it multiple times. Your student is learning that to write a good
paper, you need more than one rough draft. Along with this, we will be maintaining
other class work and reading skills.
